Policy
on Discipline and Security
GR Group's trainers, including the directors of the company
and their agents and licensees have the authority and duty of care to
ensure that all parties including but not limited to students, clients,
guests, associates, coaches, assistants and trainers, who may be present
at an GR Group function, training or otherwise, are not placed at risk
through the behaviour of any party to the function.
Any person present at such a function who behaves in a manner which could
be deemed dangerous to another person present shall be asked to leave
the premises immediately and may be assisted with the minimal force required
if they refuse to leave when asked to do so.
Any person who attends an GR Group function, regardless of their purpose
for being there, shall be asked to leave the premises immediately if they
are behaving in a manner consistent with the behaviour of someone intoxicated
with lawful or unlawful substances. If such a person refuses to leave
when asked to do so they may be assisted by GR Group personnel with the
minimal force required to ensure that they leave the premises.
In the event of a person behaving in a manner which disrupts proceedings
during a training event to the detriment of the other students, that person
shall be asked to leave the premises immediately. If such a person refuses
to leave when asked to do so they may be assisted with the minimal force
required to ensure that they leave the premises.
In the event of any of the above situations, GR Group reserves the right
to call upon the assistance of its trainers and coaches or security contractors
who may be present and to call upon the assistance of the Police and the
venue management.
In the event of a person entering any GR Group function and behaving in
a manner which is clearly unlawful or dangerous, or in the event of a
person at any GR Group function discovering that an unlawful event has
occurred, the Police will be invited onto the premises immediately to
investigate the matter.
